Valve Assembly Kits
Butterfly Valve Assembly Kits
Butterfly Valves can be used for isolating and regulating flow. The closing mechanism consists of a disc that operates in a similar way to a ball valve, allowing for quick shut-off.
Butterfly valves are lower cost than other valve designs and lighter in weight. The disc is positioned in the centre of a pipe, passing through the disc is a rod connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow.
Unlike ball valves, the disc is always present in the flow, therefore a pressure drop is always induced regardless of valve position.
The DVA-BU Butterfly Valve assembly kits include a brand new industrial butterfly valve, a set of tools and job worksheets, allowing students to easily learn about the construction, disassembly, maintenance and re-assembly of industrial butterfly valves.
